What Kind of Church Are You?
Lexington Christian Fellowship traces its roots to a Bible study which began at the
Billy Henderson, who had been part of the study since the beginning, became the pastor when the group realized that God was calling them to become more than just a fellowship. In 1980, LCF organized as a church within the university community.
Over the following years, members of the fellowship were able to minister to many students. Many of these felt called to stay and be a part of the local church. As people married and the Lord began to add children to the families, a more diverse group of people began to call LCF their home.
Ministry to children developed; people from the community began to find the church; outreach to the University continued. God faithfully blessed and increased the group.
In 1989
Through the years we have developed several ministries that touch a larger portion of the body of Christ and the world. As always we still reach out to the university community. We also publish a biannual tabloid called the University Christian, which reaches the hands of about 10,000 students. We have definite missions commitments to
